Oak & Frame began the way many good projects do — at home. I built a treehouse for my children and quickly realised I didn’t want to create something temporary or “just for now”. I wanted it to be safe, solid, and genuinely beautiful — something that improved the garden, not cluttered it.

That build brought together what I’ve always loved: thoughtful outdoor design, proper construction, and the satisfaction of fine carpentry. With years of experience in landscaping and garden building, I now specialise in bespoke timber structures — from timeless treehouses and “posh sheds” to pergolas, pavilions and summerhouses — each one designed around how you actually live outdoors.

I care about the details that make the difference: proportions, joinery, materials that weather well, and a finish you’ll still be proud of years from now. Based near Bury St Edmunds, working across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
